Vacation Bible School 2018: Strap on your life jacket and get ready for a rip-roaring river ride as we prepare for this year's Vacation Bible School July 15th - 20th. Take the plunge and teach kids God is with us, God gives us life, He is faithful, He gives hope, and Jesus is our savior. On life's wild ride, Jesus is always by our side! Splash Canyon: God's Promise on Life's Wild Ride. Please join us for our next planning meeting on May 17th at 6:30 pm or contact Alysia Wills, Leigh Ann Ruffner or Jenn Alwardt to volunteer.

Volunteer for the important role of Church Greeter. Church greeters welcome fellow members and guests to our church and provide them with the order of service and bulletin. All

members of all ages are welcome and encouraged to volunteer as a Church Greeter. A sign-up sheet posted with a list of church services, giving you the opportunity to choose one or several

services, is located on the bulletin board in the narthex. Thank you.

ALIS will continue to collect plastic bags. During the summer you may drop them off at the school Monday through Thursday or at one of the four churches. After 3 years and 2 months, ALIS

has earned $2,520. Thank you to everyone for bringing bags. Also, a special “thank you” to the people who take the bags to Wal-Mart.

Plastic Bag Change: Walmart can only send plastic shopping bags to their recycler. They will not take our bags if they include plastic wrappers of any kind of shrink wrap. So please only

send in plastic shopping bags (any color is fine, except black.)

S & W supermarket HY-Top (store brand) will give our school $50.00 for every 1,000 UPC labels turned in. Save the UPC bar code from all HY-Top products and put them in the

container outside the school office. Along with the Boxtop and Campbell labels. Thank you for your help.
