Greetings! I'm excited to announce that we will begin practice for the children's annual Christmas Eve Program on Sunday, November 19th! Practice will be from 11:15 (or immediately following Sunday School) until

 12:30 with a light snack served prior to start. Our program this year comes from CPH and features Martin Luther's beloved hymn "From Heaven Above to Earth I come". Our annual Birthday Party for Jesus will be

 December 3rd with pizza, cake and ornament crafting (please plan for children to stay until 1:30 on this day). If your children) would like to participate but is not able to make it to practice on 11/19 please let me know and I

 will be sure to include them. I am so excited to begin! Thank you and God's blessings to you as we enter this joyous holiday season!




The Annual St. Peter Lutheran Turkey Supper will be held on Sunday,November 19, 2017 in the St. Peter’s Lutheran School Gym.  Doors will open at 4:45 p.m., serving begins at 5:00 p.m.  Carry Outs

            available.  Donations are accepted, proceeds will go toward school and church expenses.  Adults $10, Children 12 & under: $5, Children under 3: Free!  Come out and enjoy!  We hope to see you there!


Decorate the sanctuary for the Christmas season with poinsettia.  Please place your orders through the Ladies Aid/LWML by Sunday, November 26th Poinsettias are available in red, pink, white, or marbled colors

 with the following prices:3-5 blooms $15.00; 6-10 blooms $30.00. Evergreen wreaths also available for $20.00 ea. Please contact Janice Heiden after service or call 618-483-6082 by Sunday, November 26th..


ALIS will continue to collect plastic bags. During the summer you may drop them off at the school Monday through Thursday or at one of the four churches. After 3 years and 2 months, ALIS

 has earned $2,520. Thank you to everyone for bringing bags. Also, a special “thank you” to the people who take the bags to Wal-Mart.



Plastic Bag Change: Walmart can only send plastic shopping bags to their recycler. They will not take our bags if they include plastic wrappers of any kind of shrink wrap. So please only

 send in plastic shopping bags (any color is fine, except black.)

S & W supermarket HY-Top (store brand) will give our school $50.00 for every 1,000 UPC labels turned in. Save the UPC bar code from all HY-Top products and put them in the

 container outside the school office. Along with the Boxtop and Campbell labels. Thank you for your help.


Reservations to schedule use of the Parish Hall needs to be made by calling the church office, to check the dates of reunions, weddings, wedding anniversaries, confirmations, etc.

 Reservations need to be scheduled by calling the office 618-483-6756 during office hours and leave a message, if no answer, and your call will be returned.
